On NOVEMBER 10th 2018, the Salty Air Market Vendors will be donating products and merchandise to help raise money to support Project Superhero. All products will be at the Project Superhero tent to silent auctioned. Come out to see your favorite superheroes, such as Batman, Wonder Woman, Deadpool, and more!
Take photos, and interact with your favorite heroes while they enjoy a day at the market with us! There will also be a bounce house, food truck, and more activities!

Project Superhero returns to the James and Connie Maynard Children’s Hospital

Our heroes kicked off the New Year by making another special visit to the James and Connie Maynard Children’s Hospital in Greenville, NC. Not only were we able to visit the Peds floor, but we also were treated to the Rehab unit visit for the first time as well! We were so blessed to meet the amazing staff and children patients during our visit. These special people are the TRUE heroes that are doing amazing things every day!

Of course, every child we met was given a gift to help brighten their day a little. We are so honored to be given this opportunity and look forward to returning very soon!

501(c)3 Status approved

501(c)3 Status approved

We are so very excited to announce that our Non-profit has been granted 501(c)3 charity status by the federal government. This status is retroactive to our official incorporation date of Nov 17th, 2015. That means, if you have made a donation or purchased a sponsorship package since that date, you can now claim this as a tax deduction!

We will be writing letters to our donors in the next few weeks with our tax ID info. Please contact us if you need a letter and don’t receive one. As always, we are forever thankful for your continued support!

FB Live “Superhero Shoutouts”

Since the formation of Project Superhero in 2015, it has been our mission to spread smiles, hope, and strength to every child we meet. However, we can not always visit these amazing kids in person. As a way to expand our reach, starting in September 2017, we have launched FB Live “Superhero Shoutouts”!

If your amazing child would like a short FB Live video shoutout from a superhero, just follow the steps below!

  1. Like our Facebook page at http://www.fb.me/projectsuperheroorg
  2. Post on our wall or send us a private message with your child’s first name, favorite superhero, and any other info on why they are amazing!
  3. Please note: all entries must be from a parent or legal guardian, all video shoutouts are posted publicly so anyone can see them, and the shoutouts will be random (we will try to give you a heads up if possible so you can hopefully catch it live).
  4. If your child is facing illness, disease, or physical/mental challenges- we would love to post a link to your FB page, Gofundme, or an appropriate awareness campaign/charity as applies to your specific situation. Just let us know!

Project Superhero performed two fun superhero presentations for over 200 children at the Tiller School in Beaufort, NC. Our volunteers talked about bullying, internet safety, inclusion during play, and how to be a super friend!
